Living Salt Elixir, Atlantic Ocean

 

​Living salt is intact, complete sea salt; the crystals and the seawater, both solid and liquid in a glass jar.

The microscopic algae, such as Dunaliella Salina and halophilic archaea are responsible for the reddish hue of the salt and are prolific producers of carotenoids, especially beta-carotene. 

The living salt is formed on a small island miles away from continental land and is contained in glass immediately after harvesting. 

This salt / saline liquid is added to every batch of Master Salt.
